Now there is only a co-op mode in colosseum and also in story. Although it is once again included in the Season Pass. Enjoy endless playability by exploring the central town and taking on quests to assist the townfolk and gain more rewards and items. The story is really engaging while not being forced leaving path to the gameplay.

It is designed to add depth, but instead piles on padding and confusion. I found the combat enjoyable for the most part, and really enjoyed seeing each character's special abilities rendered quite smoothly at the enemies' expense. Combat is decent, nothing overly complex means its friendly toward newcomers and veteran players. The story mode includes special quests where you have to collect an item or kill a boss in a preset way. Mastering many skills will be mandatory in order to execute numerous flashy combos, dodge or interact with enemies etc. While it doesn't compare to the most intense story driven ones like FullMetal Alchemist or Code Geass, it is really hard not to fall in love with the flawed yet contagiously optimistic members of the Straw Hat Pirates, led by Monkey D.

Despite all of this, there is a lot to like. It's combat is intense when the A great anime, but an even more spectacular game. The main villain is probably my favorite in terms of non-canon villains, and is capable of driving events while remaining an elusive menace.

You can also catch certain bugs with a butterfly net or fish in various spots with a rod. It has a perfect story mode and a really interesting colosseum mode, gorgeous graphics, engaging story and a ton of replayability and fun!!! Most of the characters have also special abilities, like nami can steal, usopp can call some bugs to catch, chopper can dig and so on. The only thing close to a puzzle to be found is the tricky goals to be met in tougher side-quests, and those still require the same combat and exploration skills. While I appreciate the direction, I'm definitely eager to see Luffy in a larger environment, and hope that a continuation allows for more freedom and exploration. Overall, there is a ton of replay value, and a whole lot to do to keep you busy in this game.
